As per The Athletic, Napoli are expressing a strong interest in acquiring Romelu Lukaku on a permanent deal.

Nonetheless, they have consented to the possibility of loaning Osimhen to Chelsea for the duration of one season.

There will be a purchase option included in the loan agreement.

Despite having a release clause worth €130 million in his contract, Osimhen has failed to attract potential suitors this summer.

Initially, negotiations were underway for Paris Saint-Germain to secure the Nigerian striker’s services; however, it seems that the talks have broken down.
