ESPN expert and former Super Eagles media officer Colin Udoh, who thinks the striker would be a better fit at Chelsea, issued the warning to the player.
He urged the striker to relocate to London, saying that the Blues had been kind to players of Nigerian heritage.
Even though Osimhen signed a new deal that will last until the summer of 2026, he could still depart Napoli next summer.
Real Madrid is looking for a headline striker for the upcoming season, and he has been linked to moves to Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
Victor Moses, Mikel Obi, and Celestine Babayaro, among others, spent years and won multiple titles at Stamford Bridge.
According to Udoh on ESPN FC Extra Time, “Chelsea has been really good to Nigerian players, which is interesting.”
“Celestine Babayaro performed admirably; John Mikel Obi performed admirably; and Mike Emenalo performed admirably even though he wasn’t a player.” Even now, his son is being advanced quickly to Chelsea’s youth division.
Victor Osimhen will do well at Chelsea, in my opinion. Manchester United is the one team, no matter what happens or how much money they offer him, that I would prefer to see him stay.
Osimhen is presently playing for the senior men’s national team of Nigeria, who has advanced to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) round of 16.
When the Super Eagles take on the Indomitable Lions on Saturday, he is anticipated to be at the head of the queue.
