The Serie A champions Napoli have designated Jerome Akor and Victor Boniface as backups in case Victor Osimhen decides to leave the team.
Osimhen and the Serie A winners have not yet reached an agreement on a contract extension.

By the summer of next year, the Nigerian striker’s contract will still be in effect for one year.
Akor and Boniface are among Napoli’s immediate options for Osimhen, according to 90 Minutes.
This season, Boniface has shown promise for Bayer Leverkusen, a team in the Bundesliga.
In 12 league games for Die Werkself, the 22-year-old has seven goals.
Since joining Montpellier in French Ligue 1 from Norwegian club Lillestrom, Akor has scored seven goals.
