Victor Osimhen is expected to depart from the Italian champions during the summer transfer window. As a result, Napoli has turned their attention to Victor Boniface, a 23-year-old striker who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen in Germany.
Boniface has been in excellent form, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists in just 15 starts.
His outstanding performances have earned him the Rookie of the Month award four times in a row.
Unfortunately, Boniface has been sidelined with an adductor injury for most of the Rückrunde, which has prevented him from contributing to Leverkusen’s pursuit of silverware.
Niccolò Ceccarini, an Italian transfer expert, has revealed that Napoli has identified Boniface as one of the strikers they are considering for a potential transfer.
Ceccarini mentioned Boniface alongside Benjamin Sesko as players of interest for Napoli.
