The Blues should sign Victor Osimhen in January 2019, according to former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf.
Osimhen made headlines this week after Napoli posted a video on TikTok making fun of him for missing a penalty in the 0-0 draw at Bologna last weekend.
The forward retaliated by removing every image and video that Napoli had posted to his social media accounts.
Roberto Calenda, the 24-year-old’s agent, has additionally vowed to sue Napoli over the TikTok tweet.
Osimhen’s contract with Napoli expires in less than two years, and discussions on an extension have halted recently.
Leboeuf has dared his former club to sign the striker to Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens in January. The Nigerian international may be willing to leave Napoli in light of the issue.
Chelsea are in need of a scorer and an accomplished midfielder. Leboeuf told Casinos En Ligne, “I said last season that Mitrovic would be good. He’s not world-class, but he’s a leader and a warrior.
Victor Osimhen is experiencing issues at Napoli; perhaps Chelsea will pursue him in January. Another candidate is Mostafa Mohamed of Nantes, who I believe has talent.
Toni Kross or Luka Modric would be helpful for Chelsea in the midfield. Despite being older and not participating in as many games, they would be a great asset to the team.
