Emmanuel Dennis, a forward for the Super Eagles, is being pursued by Serie A team Udinese.
Less than a year after joining the Premier League team of Nottingham Forest, Dennis is no longer in favour.
The 25-year-old was left out of Forest’s first three league contests against Manchester United, Arsenal, and Sheffield United.
Dennis’ final game for Forest was in May versus Crystal Palace.
As they search for a striker to replace Beto, Udinese is now prepared to throw him a lifeline.
This week, Beto will finalise his move to Everton.
Last season, Dennis made 19 appearances for Forest, primarily as a substitute. He contributed two assists along with two goals.
