On their way to the farm on a motorbike, Alhaji Musa Baba and his wife Fatima Baba of the Abaji Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) tragically lost their lives in an automobile accident.
A witness claims that the collision happened at the intersection of Abaji General Hospital at approximately three o’clock in the afternoon. The pair was run over by a Mercedes Benz that was coming from the Gwagwalada axis.
The witness stated, “The man died on the spot while his wife gave up at the hospital where she was rushed.”

The bodies were taken to the hospital by Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials who arrived on the site promptly.
Later, Malam Ishaq Baba Tsana, the Deputy Imam of Abaji Central Mosque, delivered funeral prayers for the couple at the football ground of Abaji Science Primary School.
Residents of Abaji have requested that the Federal Ministry of Works build an overhead bridge or interchange in the wake of the sad tragedy in order to stop more accidents and fatalities in the area.
