Tragedy Strikes Sokoto SSG as Fire Claims Daughter and Three Grandchildren

In a tragic event, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Sifawa, the Secretary to the Sokoto State Government, has lost his daughter and her three children in a devastating fire that broke out early Monday morning.

The late wife of Alhaji Muhammadu Yusuf Bello, who serves as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, was at home with her family when their residence was consumed by fire. Her husband is the only survivor of this tragic incident.

The Sokoto State Fire Service tackled the blaze, working for hours to put it out. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

The housewife and her three children will be laid to rest at midnight today in accordance with Islamic rites. The burial is scheduled to occur at Sheikh Shehu Usmanu Danfodiyo Mosque, Sifawa, within the family residence of Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Sifawa.
