Toyin Abraham has issued a response to the debt allegations made by a fashion designer, defending herself against the claims. Discover the details of her statement.

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham responded after a fashion designer criticized her on social media.

A designer known by the handle @stitchesbyandra previously accused Toyin Abraham, Annie Idibia, and Gabriel Anthony of owing her a debt amounting to millions that has remained unpaid for 1 year and 2 months.

The designer shared an update on her Instagram stories, saying: “@toyin_abraham @annieidibial @gabrielanthonys, my patience is wearing thin after 1 year and 2 months. How can you hold onto someone else’s millions without any urgency?”

Hello everyone, I want to talk about the recent claims regarding an unpaid debt to a fashion designer. The situation has been completely misunderstood. During the production of Malaika, we had a runway scene that required dresses. We reached out to several designers, including Tiannah, for their contributions.

Gabriel, a member of the team, also shared that his friend wanted to contribute some dresses—and she did. I purchased a hairpiece from her and paid for it in full. The dresses were borrowed specifically for the shoot; after we finished using them, I returned them to Gabriel who had initially brought them to us.

After spotting the allegations online, I contacted Gabriel right away for clarification. He confirmed that he told the designer that the dresses were already returned to him and then borrowed by someone else. As a result, they are no longer my responsibility. I hope this clarifies any confusion.
