Filmmaker Toyin Abraham has expressed her concerns about the rapid growth of children and the lack of proper training imparted to them.
In a somber mood, she advised parents to handle their children with care and adapt to the changing times.
Abraham highlighted the alarming trend of youths disrespecting their elders on social media under the guise of being “woke,” as well as the incident of jungle justice at Ajayi Crowther University where a student was accused of theft.
She emphasized the importance of instilling values and teaching respect to children, as the lack of proper upbringing has become prevalent in many settings today.

Taking to Instagram, she conveyed her unhappiness on Children’s Day and urged parents and guardians to prioritize better parenting, as the quality of children being raised today requires serious attention.
Abraham stressed the significance of respect, courtesy, responsibility, kindness, and hard work, values that were instilled in her generation and should continue to be instilled in the next generation.
She concluded by wishing everyone a happy Children’s Day and praying for the protection of children and a joyous celebration filled with wonderful experiences.
