Toyin Abraham, a well-known Nollywood actress and director, has discussed her spirituality and the mystery surrounding her birth.
Toyin discussed her spiritual gifts, as well as other accomplishments, in an interview with Vanessa Obioha.
The actress revealed that after her parents abandoned her after delivery because she was stillborn, it took the spiritual intervention of a cleric to resuscitate her.
“I didn’t listen to myself back then, and that was one of the issues I ran into,” she said. I have a strong spirituality. Despite the fact that I can hear the voice of the Lord and see it in my dreams, I tend to heed the desires of my flesh.
“However, things have significantly changed for me ever since I started to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I have been spiritual since birth since I am a dada, a person who is born with dreadlocks by nature.
“I was then brought back to life by a priest from Ibadan, Oyo State, who came to the hospital and inquired about me.” I was informed that I never cried or did anything abnormal before they gave me the name Oluwatoyin on the day of my naming ceremony.
Once more, they had to convince me that it was the Holy Spirit’s doing when they wanted to cut my hair short.
