The best decision Tonto Dikeh ever made was divorcing her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill according to the Nollywood actress.

As she shared her advice with another single mother, she uttered those words.

Via her Instagram DM, a single mother privately contacted her and queried how she managed to handle the departure of her ex-partner along with their son.

The actress corrected her reply by stating that she had left the marriage for herself and her son, not the other way around.

According to Dikeh, it was her decision to leave the marriage and not the other way around. She did so because she wanted out of a challenging situation for both herself and her child’s well-being. Ultimately, leaving turned out to be the best choice she ever made.

The woman was advised that she could achieve her aspirations and become the person she desires if only she dedicates herself to self-improvement and investment.

Dikeh posted the message on her Instagram page, stating “I don’t have a guidebook for single mothers. I am not an expert in this field.”

In 2017, Tonto Dikeh’s marriage to Churchill came to an end following accusations of unfaithfulness and physical abuse as reported by OBASANJONEWS.

Even after their divorce, the ex-spouses continue to bicker on social media. Tonto consistently alleges that her former partner is an irresponsible dad.

Churchill argued that the actress was the one who prevented him from seeing their child, citing it as his defense.
