Tinubu’s victory in Supreme Court will allow him time to focus and deal with governance- APC chieftain, Mumuni
Ambassador Abayomi Nurain Mumuni, a prominent member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has stated that President Bola Tinubu will have the chance to focus on confront governance following the Supreme Court’s decision on Thursday.
According to OBASANJO NEWS24, the Supreme Court affirmed the lower court’s decision on Thursday, confirming Tinubu as the election’s victor.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) had their prayers denied by the court.

In response to the Supreme Court’s decision, Mumuni stated that Tinubu and his group would be able to concentrate on their nation-building efforts thanks to the victory.
The former Lagos State governor candidate of the now-defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Rasheed Abubakar, praised the courts for enhancing Nigeria’s democracy in a statement signed by his media assistant.
In order to create a more robust economy and a larger Nigeria, he asked all interested parties to work together with the president.
He went on to say that national interests come before local ones.
“This ruling is a victory for the vast majority of Nigerian citizens who overwhelmingly supported Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the election,” he declared.
“I am happy that the judiciary kept to the facts of the case rather than appealing to feelings and emotions.
“I extend my sincere congratulations to the President and our party, the APC, on this significant win. The protracted and arduous legal dispute over the presidential election was ultimately resolved by it. This will undoubtedly provide the President and his group the focus they need to concentrate on their nation-building work.
“I called on all interested parties to work with the President to develop a more robust economy and a larger Nigeria, emphasising that national interest comes before local interests.”
