The ruling of the Supreme Court, according to Jigawa State Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, is evidence of the resilience and integrity of the nation’s democratic institutions.
In response to Thursday’s decision upholding the legitimacy of President Bola Tinubu’s election, the governor made this statement.
This was said in a press release that Hamisu Muhammad Gumel, his chief press secretary, signed.

“I am extending my warmest congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) on his recent Supreme Court verdict upholding his election as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the message reads, on behalf of the people of Jigawa State.
“Earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Court handed down a historic finding in favour of the President, supporting the legitimacy of his election victory and highlighting the desire of the people who picked him to lead our great country.”
The Supreme Court’s ruling, according to Governor Namadi, is evidence of the resilience and integrity of the democratic institutions in our nation.
“The confidence that the people have in your leadership is reaffirmed by this ruling. Working together in the spirit of growth and national unity is now our shared duty.
“Let us continue to strive for the betterment of our people and let us concentrate on the critical issues facing our nation,” he said.
He voiced his belief that Nigeria will keep developing and prospering under President Tinubu’s direction.
He expressed his admiration for the judiciary’s independence and dedication to preserving the rule of law.
