Oshiomhole urges Nigerians to be patient, saying Tinubu’s policies need more time to materialize. Discover his full message.

Nigerians have received advice from Senator Adams Oshiomhole to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

During the Sunday Politics program on Channels Television, Oshiomhole made this statement while responding to questions.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), inflation rates hit 34.19% in June 2024, and this was subsequently reported as breaking news.

The current administration’s removal of fuel subsidies and the floating of the naira were contributing factors to the elevated cost of living.

Despite his previous position as governor and current role representing Edo North in the Senate, Oshiomhole remains optimistic that Tinubu’s policies will produce positive outcomes. He urges a patient approach to see such results come about.

It is necessary to acknowledge that certain policy initiatives will take longer than a year to come into effect.

“Why would the president opt for policy decisions that are unlikely to provide long-term relief?”
