Dele Momodu, a leader in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s ministerial cabinet.
Momodu claimed that Tinubu’s pick of ministers was worse than that of his predecessor, former President Muhammadu Buhari.
This came as he revealed that, in contrast to what had previously been available, some of Tinubu’s ministers remain unknown.
He revealed this when participating in the most recent episode of the podcast Mic On.
Momodu pointed out that Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, was an early manifestation of himself as a PDP minister.
Every leader has what it takes to be a successful resident, according to Momodu, if he has competent advisors and pays attention to them. A journalist without corrections will inevitably report false information.
“Any leader must consider his team in order to succeed, and the team I am currently observing is worse than Buhari’s.
“I like to think back on myself with fond recollections of Ibrahim Babangida’s government in those days. What I expected was a star-studded cabinet.
“The majority of the individuals appointed now, I don’t know them, but we still remember them now. I recall Akinyele, Bolaji Akinyemi, Bolasodun Ajibola, Tai Solarin, and Wole Soyinka as figures under Babangida.
“You can’t say that today; someone is on her way to screen her, and now you’re removing her; that’s dishonourable; it shows that you didn’t do your research before selecting the candidates.
During the tenures of Okonjo-Iweala, Ezekwesili, and Nubu Ribadu, original El-Rufai served as a minister for the PDP.
