Tinubu’s message to traditional rulers about the 2027 polls has been revealed by the Ooni of Ife. Read about the significant details.

According to Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu advised those dissatisfied with his administration not to settle for complacency but rather consider voting him out in the 2027 presidential election.

President Tinubu reportedly made this statement on Thursday during an impromptu gathering with Traditional Rulers headed by the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III in order to address potential mass demonstrations that are expected to occur between August 1-10, 2024. As per the monarch’s account.

The Ooni of Ife observed that Tinubu emphasized the need for dialogue and reiterated his determination to alleviate the economic difficulties facing the nation.

In a statement, the President advised citizens to exercise their voting power and remove any leader they do not support during the next election cycle. He also expressed willingness to engage in discussions regarding Nigeria’s numerous struggles. However, it begs the question: are we intent on self-destructing and dismantling our country?

The Ooni of Ife stated that constructing it is an arduous task, yet dismantling it comes with ease. He affirmed our collective status as stakeholders in this country and emphasized the strength we possess when unitedly existing as a nation rather than solely on individual basis.

Previously, as reported by OBASANJONEWS24, Tinubu expressed that Nigeria’s economy is heading towards recovery and provided reassurance of brighter times.

This is occurring as Nigerians become increasingly dissatisfied with the state of their economy, given that core and food inflation rates have reached 34.19 percent and 40.87 percent, respectively.
