The election in nine Local Government Areas of Ekiti State has been declared won by the All Progressives Congress (APCpresidential )’s candidate Bola Tinubu.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Presiding Officer in Ekiti State, Prof. Akeem Lasisi, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Health Sciences in Ila Orogun, Osun, announced that Tinubu received the most votes in the local government areas (LGAs), followed by Atiku Abubakar, his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rival, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian People (NNPP).
