This weekend in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu is anticipated to welcome attendees to the 63rd Annual General Conference of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA).

Following an invitation sent to the President by the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) leadership, led by Barrister Yakubu Maikyau, SAN, the decision was made to declare the event open.

When welcoming the team to the Presidential Villa on Friday, Tinubu promised that his administration would complete an extensive assessment of the pay scales for the nation’s judicial officials.

The President claims that, given his historic achievement in overhauling justice administration in Lagos State, the fight against corruption requires a thorough assessment of the wages and benefits of judicial employees.

In addition, President Tinubu highlighted the significance of filling the open positions on the Supreme Court, saying that these positions constitute commitments that must be met in accordance with suggestions made by the National Judicial Council (NJC).

“The majority of them are currently on vacation, and when they get back, we’ll look at what they have and fill the positions. It’s the completion of a duty, he remarked.

President Tinubu continued by expressing his gratitude for the advantage of having a large number of attorneys as close advisers, including his chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, his principal private secretary, Prince Damilotun Aderemi, and the state’s chief of protocol, Victor Adeleke.
