The Saudi-African Summit is set to take place in Riyadh on November 10, 2023, and President Bola Tinubu is expected to travel there on Thursday.
At the Saudi-Africa Summit, the president will emphasise Nigeria’s commitment to luring more foreign direct investment and growing business partnerships, “which are strongly reinforced by his administration’s ongoing domestic economic reforms,” according to a statement released on Wednesday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity).
The statement went on to say that the first Saudi-African Summit will focus on advocating for coordinated action, strengthening cross-sectoral investment cooperation, addressing threats to regional security, and facilitating economic transformation through research and local development of new energy solutions.
