Mamman Ahmadu, the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), has been fired by President Bola Tinubu.
Ajuri Ngelale, the spokesperson for the president, revealed this in a statement on Saturday.
As stated in the release, “The agency is being repositioned for more efficiency and transparency as part of a larger reorganisation effort in the public procurement system.

“Until a new Director-General is appointed, the Director-General is to turn over to the highest ranking officer within the Bureau.”
Ahmadu’s services were recognised by the President, who also wished him luck in his future endeavours.
