Tinubu Signs Old National Anthem Bill, Cancels Planned NASS Address

Despite Nigerians’ objections, President Bola Tinubu signed the National Anthem Bill.

This was disclosed on Wednesday during a joint meeting of the National Assembly by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Additionally, he declared that the president will just play the new national anthem and not address the House.

The president postponed the speech, according to Speaker Tajudeen Abbas, because June 12 is officially Democracy Day.
