The G20 Compact with Africa (CwA) Conference, which German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is hosting on November 20, 2023, will be attended by President Bola Tinubu, who will leave Abuja on Saturday for Berlin, Germany.
The Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, revealed this in a statement on Friday.
At the meeting, Tinubu will discuss the immediate improvement of business and economic cooperation and lay out specific steps to increase investments in vital sectors like energy, trade, infrastructure, and new technologies, among others. He will also meet with heads of state and government from CwA member nations, bilateral partners, and international organisations.

The Nigerian leader will maintain the momentum and further the mission when he leads Nigeria’s team to the investment summit, lending credence to his widely acknowledged advocacy for foreign direct investment in Nigeria.
Following the Chancellor’s visit to Abuja and Lagos, Nigeria, in October 2023, Tinubu’s dedication to diplomatic reciprocity is further demonstrated by this visit, which also honours Germany’s invitation.
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun; the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite; the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, are expected to accompany the President, according to OBASANJO NEWS24.
