President Bola Tinubu disclosed that he received advice against appointing Nyesom Wike to his cabinet. He made this statement while acknowledging the remarkable performance of the Federal Capital Territory Minister in the nation’s capital.

Tinubu delivered these remarks during the inauguration of the Arterial Road N20 from the Northern Parkway to the Outer Northern Expressway in the federal capital city, which he officially named Wole Soyinka Way.
