Tinubu Resumes Duty, Holds First Meeting with FIRS Chairman
President Bola Tinubu officially resumes duty, kicking off his engagements with a crucial meeting with the Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) to discuss fiscal policies and revenue generation.
President Bola Tinubu has returned to his official responsibilities at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
This information was revealed on Monday by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.
In a post on X, Onanuga stated that the president met with Zach Adedeji, the Chairman of First Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), in his office.
He noted that President Bola Tinubu was at his desk this morning following a two-week vacation, with his first meeting being held with FIRS Chairman Zacch Adedeji.
Tinubu embarked on a two-week leave in Europe, spending time in the United Kingdom and France. He returned to the country two days ago after his trip.
Tinubu, arriving at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja around 7:20 pm, was welcomed by senior administration members.
The President embarked on a two-week working vacation as part of his annual leave on Wednesday, October 2, according to Bayo Onanuga, his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy.
