President Bola Tinubu has received praise from the N-power Beneficiaries Forum for his administration’s initiatives aimed at reducing poverty in the nation.

Additionally, the group is calling with the president to designate Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho as the Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Humanitarian Affairs.

The forum made the proposal during a Kano press conference discussing President Tinubu’s accomplishments over the previous 12 months.

Dr. Tejuosho, an APC leader and philanthropist from Lagos, has been helping the poor in Nigeria—particularly widows and people with physical disabilities—through her Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation.

Nazifi Abubakar, the chairman of the N-Power Beneficiaries Forum’s Kano branch, praised President Tinubu for his accomplishments in a single year and stated that the APC administration will go above and beyond its mission agenda with the appointment of Dr. Tejuosho as the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho’s appointment as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation will be discussed by President Tinubu.

Dr. Tejuosho is a perfect fit for this important position because of her unwavering dedication to helping the underprivileged in Nigeria and N-Power beneficiaries.

“The APC government will win both the presidential and gubernatorial seats in the 2027 elections if Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho is appointed Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation,” the Kano chairman declared.

According to Abubakar, the Kano N-Power wrote to Governor Abba Yusuf asking him to convert N-Power beneficiaries into permanent and pensionable workers in the state. He refused, telling them to contact President Bola Tinubu and the APC instead. However, Dr. Tejuosho listened to them and gave them the assurance that the government would take the appropriate action.
