Tinubu pledges Nigerian youngsters that we will turn them into job producers rather than job seekers
Bola Tinubu, the candidate for president of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has promised young people in Nigeria that if he is elected, they will have important roles in running his government.
Tinubu made a special promise to help young Nigerians create jobs instead of looking for them. He planned to do this mainly by improving infrastructure, which would give them access to all economic sectors.
The APC presidential candidate said he will also invest in the electricity industry to power small and medium-sized enterprises when he addressed the Tinubu-Shettima National Youth Town Hall Meeting on Friday in Abuja.
Tinubu praised Nigerian youths for their tenacity and called them an inspiration, emphasising that if he were elected president, he would provide them with possibilities to prosper.
“Youth, you outnumber all of us; you are powerful, you are intelligent, and your support is the key to unlocking the economic prosperity and advancement of our country.” There is no single sub-sector of our people that is more vital than you. I am incredibly proud of the kids in Nigeria.
“I shall rescue you from the despair of darkness.” God forbid, we won’t let them come back. We will vote with our PVC, based on our expectations, values, and today, in order to rebuild tomorrow.
“I’m providing you a guarantee to restore your hope on behalf of my running companion. I swear that you will be an essential part of running my administration. Your home and investment will be powered by enough electricity, according to Tinubu.
Yahaya Bello, governor of Kogi State and national youth coordinator for the Tinubu-Shettima presidential campaign, said that the APC presidential candidate would win the election by a large margin.
He urged the youth of Nigeria to prevent those who allegedly mishandled the nation for 16 years from retaking office.
“We have the youth mandate to deliver our candidate in this general election from top to bottom.”
“Our generation and the unborn children are what this election is about—not you, Tinubu. You have been blessed by God, Your Excellency. More than you need us, Tinubu, we need you. Don’t bother yourself, sir. The younger generation needs you, Nigeria needs you, and we all need you.
“The Nigerian youngsters requested that I inform you that you won. We are going to win this election handily because we are committed to seizing control of our future and taking the bull by the horns.
“We won’t permit those who have mismanaged our nation for 16 years to come back.” That won’t ever occur. “From the leaders to the youth, women, and those with special needs, this election has been won from top to bottom,” he claimed.
