Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the candidate for president for the All Progressives Congress (APC), said that he would fight unemployment and insurgency if he was elected in 2023.

This information was released during a massive rally in Kaduna State that drew thousands of APC members from the nation’s northwest.

Candidates for the offices of president, governor, senator, member of the House of Representatives, and state assembly attended the rally in Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi, Jigawa Katsina, Sokoto, and Zamfara in the north-west zone.

Tinubu also said that he would bring agriculture back to life to ensure food security and that jobs would be made available for the large number of young people in the country.

“With this, Nigerians will be at ease because there will be enough food in the nation,” he continued.

Tinubu told his supporters in the North-West that he was unhappy with the security situation in Nigeria and Kaduna State in particular.

He also praised the state’s governor, Nasir El-Rufai, for improving the state’s infrastructure and said he was happy that Uba Sani, the party’s candidate for governor, will take over when he leaves office.

“I assure you that we will get rid of all the troublemakers, kidnappers, and murderers who are posing a threat to Kaduna and Northern Nigeria’s security.

“El-Rufai has left a lasting impression in Kaduna State and increased internally generated revenue. “But a good successor is essential for every leader,” he added.

“Uba Sani is a young, active, and honorable man who ought to be elected as Kaduna State’s next governor.”

He continued, “You should vote for all APC candidates for any elective office.”
Earlier, Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman, thanked the state’s citizens for attending the event to support their presidential candidate.

Governors Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Simon Lalong of Plateau, Aminu Masari of Katsina, and Bello Mohammed Mattawalle of Zamfara were among the important people at the meeting.
