On Thursday, in honour of Armed Forces Day and the nation’s 50th anniversary of independence, President Bola Tinubu will join other heads of state and government in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau.
This was made clear in a statement released on Wednesday and signed by Ajuri Ngelale, the president’s spokesperson.

The celebration of Guinea-Bissau’s 50th anniversary was scheduled for September 24, 2023, however it has been rescheduled for November 16, 2023.
The President is expected to return to Nigeria on Thursday, according to Ngelale.
The proposed partnership came about as a result of Tinubu’s participation in the Saudi-Africa conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
