APC responds to Ndume’s hardship claims, asserting Tinubu is not caged and addressing Ndume’s frustration. Read the full reply.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has rejected the allegations made by Senate’s Chief Whip, Ali Ndume, regarding President Bola Tinubu’s alleged confinement in the Presidential Villa, away from the hardships faced by Nigerians.
According to APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, Ndume’s frustration stems from his inability to freely access Tinubu whenever he desires.
Ndume had accused Tinubu of closing his doors to Ministers and members of the National Assembly, claiming that the President was being shielded from his ministers and lawmakers.

However, Morka refuted these claims, stating that the lawmaker has access to the entire machineries of the Federal Government, which he has not taken advantage of.
Morka’s statement emphasized that Senator Ndume’s comments reflect a sense of entitlement to see the President at his own convenience, and that the President is diligently fulfilling his duties to the Nigerian people.
He also highlighted that President Tinubu regularly engages with citizens, officials, and guests from various backgrounds, as his schedule allows.
