Tinubu’s lack of experience is highlighted by Sowunmi, who emphasizes the need for PDP’s assistance in his administration.
Segun Sowunmi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), asserts that President Bola Tinubu lacked sufficient experience in handling Nigeria’s intricate affairs upon assuming office.
On Monday’s episode of Politics Today on Channels Television, Sowunmi shared that his most valuable experience was overseeing Lagos despite it not representing the entire country of Nigeria.
He stated that it is impractical to govern a large country like ours without careful consideration of policies and innovative problem-solving strategies. He further commented on the APC’s governance, acknowledging their need for assistance from the PDP.
According to the PDP chieftain, if former President Atiku Abubakar were one of Tinubu’s opponents in the 2023 election, he would have been more capable of handling the economy and therefore there would not be a need for current protests such as #EndBadGovernance which is gaining traction among young people.
