The statement said that Adewale Adeniyi (MFR) had been confirmed in his position as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service by His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
His tenure is in compliance with the current Public Service Rules (PSR) rules, and the appointment is effective as of October 19, 2023. The President gives him the job of using his vast experience to his new task.
The new Customs leader had been acting when he succeeded the previous CG, Hameed Alli, in June.
