Tinubu mourns the passing of ex-Labour leader, Ali Chiroma
President Bola Tinubu has expressed his deep sorrow regarding the passing of the former President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Ali Chiroma.

Through a statement delivered by his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, on Wednesday, Tinubu extended his heartfelt condolences to the family, the organized labour community, and all those affected by this tragic loss.
The Presidency highlighted Chiroma’s significant contributions as the former head of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and his involvement in various leadership roles within the trade union structure.
Recognizing the pivotal role Chiroma played during challenging times in the country’s history, Tinubu praised his unwavering commitment to the NLC’s autonomy and his relentless advocacy for the marginalized.
Tinubu offered his prayers for the departed soul of Chiroma, seeking solace and peace from the Almighty Allah for him. Additionally, he reassured the family of the late statesman that they are in his thoughts and prayers during this difficult period of mourning.
