Tinubu mourns death of Chief Oluremi Atanda

Chief Oluremi Atanda, a former chairman of the Old Oyo State Civil Service Commission, passed away, and President Bola Tinubu has expressed his sorrow.

In a statement released by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu expressed his sincere sympathies to the Atanda family on the loss of their patriarch.

He claimed that in the 1970s and 1980s, many students in the South West of Nigeria were trained at the prestigious Atanda Continuing Education Centre, which was established by the late Atanda.

“Respected educator and administrator who made significant contributions to the growth of Old Oyo State and Nigeria was mourned by President Tinubu.

“President Tinubu prayed for the repose of the soul of the elder statesman while expressing his condolences to Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo, and the people of Iwoland.”
