The two met the day before at a state reception that Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu hosted for Ambode on June 29.
Former Lagos State Governor Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode and President Bola Tinubu are now having a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Following their meeting on June 29, the President and Ambode will meet again at the state reception that Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu hosted for him.
Sanwo-Olu’s June 14 visit to his predecessor’s house to honour his 60th birthday is thought to have signalled the beginning of Ambode’s alleged return to the centre of Lagos politics.
This meeting is thought to be a way to wrap off conversations about President Tinubu considering Ambode for a position in his administration.
Senator Uba Sani, the governor of Kaduna State, was also in attendance.
