He emphasized that just as former President Muhammadu Buhari successfully completed his 8-year term, no grand scheme or coalition will be able to dislodge President Tinubu in the upcoming election.
The former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC further asserted that any political maneuver within the National Assembly to oust Senate President Godswill Akpabio and the chairman of the 10th National Assembly would also be futile, standing firm in his support for the current leadership.
In response to the efforts led by opposition figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Prof Pat Utomi to merge opposition parties into a formidable force to challenge the ruling party in 2027, Nabena expressed confidence that the Presidency will remain in the South and President Tinubu will continue his commendable work, as per divine will.
Nabena emphasized the importance of unity among all regions in supporting the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that Nigeria’s unity is paramount and should not be jeopardized.
He reiterated that the South must complete its 8-year political cycle, with President Tinubu leading the region, and that internal divisions within the Southern region should be a thing of the past, emphasizing a collective approach for the nation’s progress.
