Senator Adams Oshiomhole of Edo North Senatorial District has stated that President Bola Tinubu did not pledge to address the nation’s various difficulties overnight.
In an interview with Channels Television on Sunday, the former governor of Edo State stated that the President is not a magician.
He claims that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, is still on track with its campaign pledges, claiming that it has never guaranteed a 24-hour solution to Nigeria’s problems.
The senator expressed hope that the Tinubu administration will keep its commitments, pointing out that the President had demonstrated his commitment to doing so by recent initiatives.
“They know they didn’t vote for a magician,” he explained. Nobody promised a miraculous cure. Don’t bother with an example. I am more aware of what we (the APC) promised than you are.
“We are the source of everything is reported. We did not guarantee a 24-hour solution or an overnight solution to anyone. Can you show me any documents in which we stated that “this will be completed in 24 hours?”
