Charly Boy, the renowned singer Charles Oputa, has alleged that the Federal Government led by President Bola Tinubu is planning to apprehend Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the previous election, due to his continuous criticism of the administration.
Charly Boy cautioned that any attempt to arrest or press charges against Obi would be met with an unprecedented level of resistance in Nigeria’s history.
He urged the government to exercise caution and refrain from igniting unrest by unlawfully arresting Obi. In a message posted on his social media handle, Charly Boy emphasized that if any arrest or charges were brought against Obi, the “Obidients” (supporters of Obi) were prepared to resist.
He called on Tinubu’s government to abandon their malicious plans against Peter Obi, as it would have far-reaching consequences for Nigeria.
