Mr. Mohammed Abba Isa has been appointed by President Bola Tinubu as the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Disability Matters.
The President’s Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, made this revelation in a statement.

President Bola Tinubu has authorised Mr. Mohammed Abba Isa’s appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Disability Matters, demonstrating his commitment to making sure that every sector of society is adequately served within the framework of his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

With more than ten years of experience advocating locally and internationally on issues affecting people with disabilities, Mr. Mohammed Abba Isa is a renowned champion of people with disabilities.
The new presidential aide graduated with honours in public administration from the University of Maiduguri, where he also pursued a master’s degree in public administration in 2017.
In order to foster a national consensus on PWD-friendly policies and environmental conditions, the President assigns the new appointee the task of actively creating avenues for inclusion by incorporating PWD requirements and perspectives into the policies and programmes of all Federal Government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies. The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) will play a key role in this effort.
