Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress, APC, has called his rival from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, a “fraud.”
Tinubu said that Atiku was spreading false information and lies because 2023 is his last chance to run for president.
He advised Nigerians to be cautious about Atiku’s promises, which he asserted were false.
On Sunday, Tinubu spoke via Bayo Onanuga, his campaign director.
He emphasized that Atiku’s claim that Nigeria wasn’t secure for farming and business during his campaign in Abuja was untrue.
Atiku’s opinions on Nigeria’s security issues, according to Onanuga, are overblown.
Atiku has been spewing a series of lies, making empty promises, and presenting a false narrative about our current reality and the legacy of the 16-year ignoble era of the PDP administration, of which he was a principal actor, while on the hustings, aware that this is his final attempt at the elusive presidency.
The statement states, “We believe that Atiku will acknowledge that his attitude regarding insecurity is overstated in his private moments.”
