The presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax changes was established and officially launched on Tuesday at the State House in Abuja by President Bola Tinubu.
Taiwo Oyedele, a Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, would serve as the committee’s chair.
The group was established by the president, according to a statement released on July 7 by Dele Alake, Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy.
The committee, which consists of specialists from both the public and private sectors, will be in charge of designing and coordinating fiscal policy, coordinating tax reform efforts, and managing revenue.
