President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved N18 billion in benefits for the families of fallen Nigerian military heroes, including Group Life Assurance payouts and other entitlements.
The statement was made by the president on Wednesday during the Emblem Appeal launch for the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the State House in Abuja.
Additionally, he assured the nation’s armed forces that his administration would move its soldiers to help them continuously.

“We are indebted to our brave soldiers, who have taken on the responsibility of safeguarding this magnificent country. He said, “I have approved the sum of N18 billion for the payment of the Group Life Assurance benefits and other entitlements to the families of service members who lost their lives in the line of duty in appreciation of the sacrifices made by the men and women of our armed forces and to underscore this government’s commitment to their welfare.”
