Tinubu Departs for France on Monday
President Tinubu is scheduled to travel to France on Monday for diplomatic engagements and discussions with international leaders.
According to the presidency, Bola Tinubu, the President will be embarking on a trip to France starting from Monday.
In a statement released on Sunday, Ajuri Ngelale – the President’s Advisor for Media and Publicity – revealed this information.
It was stated that Tinubu would come back to the country once his visit in the European nation is over.
According to a brief statement, President Bola Tinubu will depart from Abuja, the capital of Nigeria on Monday, August 19th for a work visit in France. After his short stay in France, the President is expected to return back to the country.
He did not state the reason for his visit.
The Nigerian leader’s return to Abuja from Equatorial Guinea occurred two days prior to this.
Tinubu paid an official visit to the Central African nation on Wednesday, in response to President Teodoro Mbasogo’s invitation. The trip lasted for three days.
At 02:07 pm local time, Tinubu and his important assistants arrived at Saint Isabel Airport in Malabo via a Gulfstream aircraft. Equatorial Guinean Prime Minister Mrs. Manuela Roka Botey welcomed him upon landing.
Tinubu met with his counterpart from Equatorial Guinea where they engaged in discussions and observed the signing of various agreements, specifically pertaining to oil, gas, and security.
Yusuf Tuggar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs along with other cabinet members participated in signing agreements and evaluating potential measures to enhance bilateral relations.
