Tinubu denies any interference from Buhari in his cabinet composition

During the book launch in Abuja, President Bola Tinubu expressed his admiration for his predecessor, ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, for his hands-off approach in the formation of Tinubu’s 48-man cabinet last August.

Tinubu commended Buhari for his statesmanship and for not interfering or intruding in the decision-making process.

Tinubu acknowledged their partnership in strengthening democracy in Nigeria and thanked Buhari for his support. He also mentioned that Buhari rarely contacts him to nominate or complain about issues, except for casual conversations.

The event was attended by prominent figures such as Aisha Buhari, Yemi Osinbajo, Yakubu Gowon, Godswill Akpabio, and other APC leaders.
