At the Presidential Villa in Abuja, a meeting between President Bola Tinubu and governors from APC is currently underway.
In response to increasing demands for nationwide protests against economic hardship, a meeting commenced shortly after 1 pm.
The content of the Thursday meeting agenda has not been made public, but it is assumed to be related to the upcoming demonstrations scheduled between August 1st and August 10th.
These protests have received a significant amount of attention on social media through their association with the hashtag “EndBadGovernance.”

After the National Economic Council meeting was canceled at the eleventh hour, originally scheduled for noon on Thursday, a gathering of Nigeria Governors’ Forum took place on Wednesday night. This is now followed by this meeting.
