Tinubu: Buhari leads the APC campaign in Bauchi

President Muhammadu Buhari will campaign for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima on Monday in Bauchi, the capital of Bauchi State. This is in preparation for the general elections in 2023.

President Buhari is anticipated to head the All Progressives Congress’ presidential and governorship campaigns in Bauchi, which are scheduled to begin at 8.30 a.m., according to a statement signed by the director of media and publicity for the APC Presidential Campaign Council.

The event will start earlier than other rallies since President Buhari is also scheduled to commission the Lekki Deep Sea Port on Monday in Lagos. This project is a public-private partnership (PPP) between the Federal and Lagos State governments and a private business, Tolaram.

The 18.75-kilometer, 6-lane rigid-pavement Eleko Junction to Epe Expressway and the Lagos Rice Mill, one of the largest in the world with a capacity of 32 metric tonnes per hour each, will also be inaugurated by President Buhari.

The John Randle Center for Yoruba Culture and History and the renowned Blue Line’s first phase are also anticipated to receive their commissions on Tuesday.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the APC, will launch his campaign from Bauchi on Tuesday and travel to the states of Abia, Ogun, and Taraba before stopping in Benue and Taraba on Thursday. He will return to Abuja on Friday for the launch of the All Farmers Progressive Association by Kashim Shettima and the commissioning of tractors for members.
