During the second term inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodimma in Owerri, President Bola Tinubu addressed the concerns of Nigerians regarding the mass exodus of skilled workers from the country.

He assured the citizens that the Federal Government, in collaboration with sub-nationals, will prioritize the education and training of individuals to fill the professional gap in sectors such as health and technology.

Tinubu emphasized the administration’s commitment to industrialization and stated that healthcare will receive increased allocation and attention.

He also reassured the people of the South-East that efforts will be made to enhance peace in the region.

Despite the challenges posed by the ‘Japa’ phenomenon, which refers to the emigration trend driven by factors like the COVID-19 pandemic and poor working conditions, Tinubu expressed confidence in training and supplying more skilled individuals to meet the country’s needs.
