President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the Presidential villa on his first day of work as Nigeria’s 16th President, hours after taking the oath of office.
Tinubu is greeted by the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, upon his arrival from Defence House.
The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), Mele Kyari, and the lawmaker representing the Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, the Honorable James Faleke, are also on board to receive the President.
Tinubu was greeted by the quarter security at the Presidential gate upon his arrival at the villa. He then engaged in small talk with Shettima, Gbajabiamila, and others.
