The financial summit, which France is hosting, aims to create a system that is more adaptable, just, and inclusive.

At the meeting for the New Global Financing Pact, which is taking place at the Palais Brongniart in Paris, President Bola Tinubu has arrived.

The French Minister of Foreign Affairs and Europe, Catherine Colonna, welcomed the Nigerian leader when he arrived with his Aide-de-Camp, Nurudeen Yusuf.

President Tinubu, who left Abuja for France on Tuesday, would take advantage of the summit to meet with representatives from a number of nations, including France, the United States, and Switzerland, to discuss potential strategies for luring foreign direct investments.

According to Channels Television, France is hosting the financial conference, which aims to create a more responsive, equitable, and inclusive system. Additionally, it aims to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, finance the transition to a sustainable climate, and safeguard biodiversity.

The summit is anticipated to include about 39 heads of state from different parts of the world. Several multilateral development banks, including the World Bank, Africa Development Bank, European Union, African Union, and the United Nations, are also anticipated to attend.
