As part of his tour to celebrate 25 years of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the National Assembly Complex.
It is currently 11:57 am, and Tinubu has not yet entered the National Assembly after arriving in his motorcade.
Shortly after the president arrived, Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Senate, and Speaker of the House Abbas Tajudeen entered the room.

The President would merely listen to the Old National Anthem, Mr. Akpabio declared, instead of addressing the assembly.
He insisted that the politicians download the brand-new song.
Nevertheless, the President addressed the parliamentarians in a brief speech that followed.
This is happening in the midst of the Presidency’s bewilderment about Tinubu’s contradictory remarks made at an assembly joint session.
